The organisation faces a choice: investing in an AI start-up, having a system built, scaling up a pilot or buying a solution. Does it hold up, technically and in practice?

Governance & Risk

AI is already running in the organisation. An assessment is requested, or governance and control need to be set up properly: measures, standards and the ability to demonstrate them to supervisors and clients.

OutcomeAn assessment with findings and an improvement plan, tested against the EU AI Act, NIS2, CRA, DORA and GDPR.

Technology and AI,
with a solid scientific foundation and practice as the test.

More than fifteen years in AI, technology, audit and accountancy. Auditor at Deloitte, then seven years in the Dutch central government, with AI and cybersecurity as the main focus: first as adviser on geopolitics and technology, then as lead senior adviser on AI. Ten years as a lecturer at Nyenrode, visiting researcher at the University of Amsterdam. Master's degrees in computer science, accountancy and philosophy.

Judging AI on what it can do and demonstrate, not on what is promised about it.

The perspective is always the same: the system itself, the figures behind it and the people around it.
